Find the 6-digit spare part number in your assembly instructions (read below for guidance).
Bring your purchase receipt or order confirmation with you.
Contact us before heading to the store to ensure the spare part is available.

Bigger spare parts

You don’t need to dispose of an entire piece of furniture or equipment if only one part is defective. Many bigger furniture spare parts are available for free. You can request them at your local IKEA store or by contacting our customer service centre. These parts are provided only with proof of purchase and while your items are still under warranty.

How to find the spare part number

You can find the spare part number directly in your assembly instructions. If you no longer have them, you can locate and order the parts as follows:

1. Enter the name or number of the product in the search bar and start the search.

2. On the product page, go to the “Instructions & Documents” section to find the assembly instructions and download them.

3. In the assembly instructions, all spare parts are listed at the beginning, along with their 6-digit numbers and the quantity needed.
