Internal Rules of the Children's Playroom “Småland Fairytale Forest”
1. The internal rules of the children’s playroom “Småland Fairytale Forest” (hereinafter – Småland) (hereinafter – Rules) apply to the operation of the IKEA Småland playroom, its employees, and visitors of the playroom (hereinafter – Visitors): children in the playroom, as well as their parents and accompanying adults responsible for the children (hereinafter – Responsible Adults). By signing the registration form, the Responsible Adult acknowledges, agrees to, and undertakes to comply with these Rules.
2. Småland is a playroom located in the IKEA store at Biķeru iela 2, Ulbroka, Stopiņu Parish, Ropaži Municipality, LV-1079, Latvia.
3. Every person visiting and staying in Småland must comply with the Rules of the service provider SIA “Paul Mason Properties,” registration number 50103951541, legal address: Biķeru iela 2, Ulbroka, Stopiņu Parish, Ropaži Municipality, LV-1079, Latvia (hereinafter – IKEA).
4. These Rules set out the basic requirements for internal order in Småland, the main requirements for Visitors, and other requirements related to the playroom’s operation to ensure smooth, safe, and coordinated operation, as well as the good mood and satisfaction of each Visitor with Småland’s services.
5. Visiting Småland is free of charge.
6. Småland can be visited during IKEA store opening hours. Store hours and contact information are available at the store entrance, the information stand, and the website www.ikea.com/lv.
7. If necessary, the service provider has the right to give individual instructions to Visitors to ensure proper internal order in Småland, including, but not limited to, safety rules in emergencies. Children and Responsible Adults must follow the Rules and the instructions of Småland employees.
8. The service provider reserves the right to amend or supplement these Rules, modify opening hours, or close Småland if necessary.
9. The Responsible Adult must complete the registration form, which is considered a contract between the Responsible Adult and IKEA for the provision of Småland services, agree to these Rules, and read the Småland Privacy Policy. One registration form must be completed for each child. The information provided must be accurate.
10. Only adults who have reached the age of eighteen (18) may register a child. Registration is done in order of arrival. The Responsible Adult who brings and registers the child and later picks up the child from the playroom will receive a Småland wristband. The Responsible Adult must ensure the wristband number matches the child’s wristband. Only the Responsible Adult with a matching wristband may pick up the child. The wristband is removed only after the child is picked up.
If multiple adults leave a child in the playroom, both Responsible Adults receive wristbands so either can pick up the child (the child will have two wristbands). Both the child’s and adult’s wristbands must be worn on the wrist.11. Children’s clothes, shoes, and other belongings are placed in numbered boxes – one per child. The box must be handed to a Småland employee. The box number is recorded on both the child’s and Responsible Adults’ wristbands and the registration form. IKEA employees are not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
12. Children enter Småland through the door. Lifting a child over the playroom barrier is not allowed.
13. By completing and signing the registration form, the Responsible Adult agrees to these Rules.
14. Before checking out, the Responsible Adult takes a queue number and waits for their turn. The Responsible Adult is identified by the wristband number, which is checked by a playroom employee. Wristband numbers on the child’s and Responsible Adults’ wristbands must match.
15. For safety reasons, only the Responsible Adult who registered the child may pick up the child. Adults must present a wristband with the same number as the child’s wristband. Wristbands cannot be removed before picking up the child or given to third parties.
16. The box containing the child’s clothes and personal belongings is returned to the Responsible Adult.
17. Children aged three (3) to seven (7) years, with a minimum height of ninety (90) cm, may visit Småland. Older children may stay in the store’s TV room or restaurant only under parental supervision and without IKEA employees. In case of doubt about a child’s age, a playroom employee may request proof of age. IKEA employees may refuse access if the Responsible Adult fails to provide proof.

The Småland playroom may only be entered in socks.18. Children with special needs are welcome. Responsible Adults must inform the playroom staff of the child’s needs and provide information necessary to ensure the child’s comfort, safety, and positive experience.
