 How it works

Before a kitchen planning meeting:

  1. Check out 5 steps to buying a kitchen to better understand what’s involved in planning a new kitchen—from measuring to installing.
  2. Visit or book an appointment. You can come directly to the IKEA Riga store (Kitchen department) or book a one-on-one planning meeting at IKEA selling point in Liepaja. Alternatively, use our tailored interior design service.
  3. Browse our kitchen inspiration, explore different kitchen styles and products, and list your kitchen dreams and frustrations.
  4. Measure your kitchen and document specifications. It’s critical to get this step right from the start to avoid costly surprises later.
  5. Download and complete the kitchen planning checklist. This will help ensure your meeting is efficient and productive.

During and after a kitchen planning meeting:

  1. Bring your kitchen measurements, specifications, lists of dreams and frustrations, and favourite inspirational ideas to the meeting.
  2. Together, we’ll find the door and cabinet fronts you love and design a layout that meets your needs and hopes.
  3. You’ll get a 3D design, a parts list, a kitchen quote and estimates for extra services that can make life easier—like delivery and installation.
