Indoor trees enhance spaces big and small

Among the largest members of our plant collection, our indoor trees provide a striking style impact in spaces of all sizes. Indoor trees look beautiful as standalone plants, and are equally attractive when grouped together or spread throughout a large room. They can also be used as a natural room divider or to help define the boundaries of a space within a space. In a shared office, for example, a few tall floor plants between coworkers' desks can help everyone focus better without putting up literal walls that can make a space feel closed and dark.

Just as you do for other indoor plants, your first step should be to check the care instructions for your favourite floor plant varieties. Each will have its own ideal watering schedule and sunlight needs, so you’ll want to be sure your planned location will be a good fit.

Affordable floor plants help ground a room of greenery

When many plant lovers first started their collection, it likely began with a potted flowering plant or two. Over time, perhaps a desk plant was added, followed by a hanging plant. Next, perhaps a shelf was installed near a window to provide adequate light for sun-loving foliage. To be certain, plants have a way of not only growing themselves, but also growing in quantity once the shopping begins!

Just as you’ve taken time to add plants to windows and surfaces, consider where you have space for floor plants to tie it all together. The visual harmony of plants at different heights placed throughout a room helps it feel more relaxing and cohesive, no matter its size.
