What a perfect day

Check out the program and plan your perfect Meatball Day!

On Saturday, the festivities will take place from 12:00 to 20:00, and on Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00.

We’ll kick things off on Saturday at 12:00 with some summer vibes and a workshop where both kids and adults can create beautiful flowers from various materials. The folk dance ensemble “Zelta sietiņš” will light up the stage with some joyful energy and welcome the audience to join in the dancing as well.

Throughout the day, the event host Kristaps Tālbergs will invite you to join a variety of games with fantastic prizes from IKEA, while DJ Feya and our very own IKEA DJs – mascots Meatball and Heart, and even the host himself – will take turns at the DJ booth to keep the beats going. Meanwhile, the STAR FM mobile studio will report on all the behind-the-scenes action.

On Saturday, the fun will continue until 20:00. Then, we’ll meet again on Sunday at 12:00 for more games, attractions, delicious meatball dishes and some joyfyl dancing with the children and youth dance ensemble "Bitītes". On Sunday, the dancefloor rhythms will be in the hands of DJ Cimmis and his sidekicks, our mascots Cinnamon Bun and Bear, all the way until 18:00.

Games and atractions

IKEA Meatball festival is no ordinary festival and there will be some extraordinary activities. You’ll have the chance to release giant soap bubbles into the sky, get creative in workshops, take part in fun contests, and win prizes, play ball bingo, ball animal golf, ball Tic-Tac-Toe, ball rolling, the beloved "Throw It in the Pot!" and many other fun games. And of course, there’s no festival fun without the inflatable shark bouncy house and ball pool for kids. Good times are guaranteed for both kids and adults!

Enjoy new meatball flavours

This year, you’ll be able to try more meatball flavors than ever before. In addition to our traditional meat, chicken, vegetable, and plant balls, we’re introducing new choices: fish balls and falafel balls. Come and have a taste!

The new meatballs are already available at the Swedish restaurant, whereas the well-known and beloved flavors can also be enjoyed at home by purchasing the meatballs at the Swedish food market.

On a yellow background, the phrase "Viss bumbas" is written, and on top of it there is a cardboard dish containing meatballs, lingonberry sauce, and a Swedish flag.

Photos and videos will be taken during the festival

Photo and video materials will be published at IKEA social media accounts and other channels.
