Porridge with almond paste

A luxurious porridge inspired by SwedishShrovetide buns, enjoy as a weekend breakfast or as a snack.

SERVES 2

INGREDIENTS:

PORRIDGE

2 dl HJÄLTEROLL porridge mix

2 dl water

2 dl milk of choice *

1 tsp. cardamom, preferably ground

 

ALMOND PASTE

1 dl almond flour

0.5 tsp. vanilla powder

1 tsp. coconut sugar

3.5 tbsp. milk of choice *

 

SERVE WITH:

Milk of choice *

Whipped cream, preferably coconut cream *

Roasted almonds

Ground cardamom

* Can be made suitable for vegans

STEP BY STEP:

1. Mix the ingredients for the porridge in a pot, cook on low heat for a few minutes.

2. Mix the ingredients for the almond paste.

3. Chop the almonds roughly, roast in a dry pan. Whip the cream.

4. Place the porridge in bowls, top with almond paste, whipped cream, roasted almonds and milk. Sprinkle some ground cardamom.
