Terrible chemical smellAnonymous reviewerWe've left the windows opened for days. We've put the carpet on the balcony for several days. We've vacuumed it every day for more than a week. There is a chemical smell that won't go away and pollutes the entire living room. The rug fibers also feel a bit sticky, as if there was wax coating. Too bad because otherwise it looks good and the price is okay.2

This is my second rug from ikea and I am not disappointed. Pile perfect for softness yet not a pet hair collector. Easy to clean and stays nicely in place using ikeas underlay. Colour very pretty and easy to match with most colours.

Best rug if you have cats

My cats dig their nails into this rug on a daily basis and even after 3 years, I’ve not seen a single thread come off the top. It’s a bit difficult to vacuum pet hair from though, but wiping it with a damp cloth takes care of that.
