The white OSTVIK front with a glass door has carved details that give your storage a traditional look. Use it to display your favourite things and match it with the white SMEVIKEN front.

The remote control works through the glass, so you can control your electronic equipment with the door closed.
You can choose to mount the door on the right or left side.

OSTVIK glass door has the same colour and style as SMEVIKEN front. Combine them to form a complete storage and display solution.
Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. In case it would break, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

Material
What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
