Pain in the @$$ to assemble Anonymous reviewer You have to assemble it standing by first leaning the side pieces against yourself and putting the screws into the big bottom shelf one side at a time, just a little bit, by hand, just until the screws catch enough so that it stands up by itself. Then you can finish screwing them in all the way and tighten them up with the tool. Then you can put in the next shelf. But even when put together properly it's not very steady. If you worry about earthquakes, attach it to the wall with something because even a level 4 is gonna knock this sucker over. Also, the metal is really weak and the shelves are not completely flat - there is some kind of imprint on the mesh so that you won't be able to stand things up on it properly. I'm only using it for plants, so it doesn't matter for that purpose, but if you wanted to use it for books or something they would not stand up properly. Kind of a cheap POS, but hey - what do you expect, it's cheap and it's Ikea.2
