This service allows you to have your IKEA ready-made curtains re-sized or made from IKEA fabrics.

This service is not available for the purchases at online store and phone purchase. 

Conditions

  • Can only be applied for before checkout on the same day the curtains are purchased at an IKEA store.
  • Service not available for curtains that have been opened or purchased previously.
  • Curtains purchased outside of IKEA are not eligible.

 

Detail specification

  • Normal rail（pleated): Can be hanged to a common curtain rail with the attached hooks. One curtain piece is about 100cm wide.
  • Normal rail（flat): Can be hanged to a common curtain rail with the attached hooks. One curtain piece is about 145cm wide.
  • Pole type: Tie heading allows you to hang the curtains directly on a curtain rod. One curtain piece is about 145cm wide.
  • Available sizes
    Length: up to 225 cm
    *Some are not applicable.
    • Tassels: ¥500
      Made separately only for processes up to 180 cm in length. Two tassels can be made from the same fabric.
      Some products has already tasels in it.
    • Splicing: ¥2,000 per pack.
      For rail widths larger than the basic size, 2 or 3 packs of curtains can be spliced together.
      Additional charge: ¥2,000 per pack (e.g. for 2 packs, basic charge ¥ 1,500 + additional charge ¥2,000 x 2 = ¥7,000)."

How to use the service

  1. Measure your windows before your visit
    You need to take measurements at your home before you visit.Download and print out the 'How to measure your order size', fill in the size box with the measurements and bring it to the IKEA store.Download 'How to measure your order' (PDF, Japanese only)
  2. Choose your curtains
    Select a product in the textile area of the IKEA store.
  3. Apply for the service at the textile area.
    Bring your chosen product and ask a staff to fill in the application form provided.If you would like to use an option or have any other questions, please ask a staff near you.
  4. Checkout and delivery of your goods
    Please proceed to the checkout with your products and order form.
    <If you purchase at IKEA store, exclude City shops>
    After checkout, please bring your goods to the "Goods Receiving Counter" next to the delivery counter.
    ＜If you purchase at IKEA Shinjuku, IKEA Harajuku or IKEA Shibuya＞
    After checkout, please take your items directly to the cashier.

  • Length - 151 cm to 200 cm, width - 150 cm: ¥4,500
  • Length: 151 cm - 200 cm Width: 151 cm - 300 cm: ¥7,000
  • Length 201 cm - 280 cm Width - 150 cm: ¥5,500
  • Length 201 cm - 280 cm Width 151 cm - 300 cm: ¥9,000
