5 step guide to prepare for assembly
Please check the following 5 steps to ensure a safe and smooth assebly. There are only a few simple perarations to be done before the assembly, but it will make your work a lot easier.
1.Prepare enough space
The space required for assembly depends on each product, anyhow, as a rule of thumb secure a space that is roughly 1.5 to 2 times bigger than the size of the assembled product.
2. Protect your floor
During the assembly you might need to rotate and lift the furniture. To prevent scratches or damages to the floor, put some rugs, blankets or even cardboard beneath it, while assembling.
3. Open the package with a screwdriver
When using a knive to open the packages it can not only be dangerous for you, but also damage the product inside. Use a screwdriver or letter opener instead, by simply sliding over the tape.
4. Check the assembly instruction - before you start
When you have opened the boxes, take out the assembly instructions and read them carefully before starting the assembly. There will be notes whether you'll need additional tools or other things to take care of. It will make the assembly much smoother and faster when you have read the manual beforehand.
5. Check the number and type of parts attached
Before you start with your assembly, make sure that you have all the parts you need. Check all boxes for screw bags and compare the contents to the assembly guide, to make sure you are not missing anything.
