What is IWAY?
“IWAY” is an abbreviation for “The IKEA Way on Purchasing Home Furnishing Products”.
This is the IKEA code of conduct. It establishes minimum requirements that IKEA imposes on its suppliers regarding environmental conditions, labour conditions, and child labour. It also lays out what suppliers can expect from IKEA.
IKEA also has a separate code of conduct regarding child labour, “The IKEA Way on Preventing Child Labour”.
Otherwise, IKEA has codes of conduct known as “The IKEA Way on Distributing Home Furnishing Products” and “The IKEA Way on Purchasing Food”.
