Let's get to know SPATHIPHYLLUM, better known as the Peace lily
The Peace lily is native to Colombia and Venezuela. So they prefer warm and humid surroundings. They produce beautiful glossy green leaves and under the right conditions will flower. When the leaves droop on this easy-care plant, it’s trying to tell you that it needs some water. Plant tip: Provide semi-shade in the summer and bright indirect light in the winter.
Conditions
Place in a shaded area and keep out of strong direct light, this will damage the leaves.
Watering
The growing medium should be kept moist most of the time with frequent watering and a little misting.
Minimum temperature 15°C
A lower temperature could affect the plant, but it will also dry out if placed to close to a radiator.
Location
Peace lilys should be kept indoors.
Not for consumption
This plant is just for decoration, and should not be consumed.
Recommended pot diameter: 12 - 24cm
As your plant grows it will need some more space, aim for a pot that's 5-7cm larger than the previous pot.
