Let's get to know HEDERA HELIX, the common Ivy

Ivy is native to Europe and under the right conditions a Fast-growing climbing plant. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use if the temperature is over freezing. Plant tip: Wear gloves while handling Ivy as part of the plant can cause a reaction. 

Conditions

Place in a shaded area, but not too dark this can turn the leaves dark green. 

Watering

The growing medium should be moist, but allowed to dry out between waterings. 

Minimum temperature 0°C

This hardy plant can survive low temperatures, but not freezing. 

Location

Ivy can be kept indoors and outdoors. If used outdoors it will happily climb a garden trellis. 

Not for consumption

This plant is just for decoration, and should not be consumed.

Recommended pot diameter: 14 cm

Recommended diameter of 14cm. Repot every 2-3 years after the dormant period to encourage growth.
