Challenging Assembly ColinI managed to put this together by myself, which seems to have been quite the accomplishment based on the other reviews I’ve read !
You assemble the frame from inside the canvas fabric and it’s a VERY SNUG fit. I was sure something was going to rip as I struggled to get the frame to fit inside - so it appears that the fabric and stitching are robust at least !
In truth, after putting it together I still feel that some of the rods are ready to pop out like a jack-in-the-box when I open it. I’m just hoping that the tension will gradually ease as the fabric stretches a bit more.
On the positive side, because it’s such a snug fit without any loose fabric flapping about, it does look pretty neat. Time will tell how weather-proof it is, but if it could handle all the pulling and stretching required for assembly, it should be tough enough for the elements 🤞
