Fine, but not comparable to a full stovetopErin-MarieWe bought this because our rental home came with an old fashioned electric range/stove. After using an induction cooktop for years, it’s hard to go back. This is certainly better than a standard electric cooktop, but not comparable to a full kitchen stove: it is very loud (the fan), it does not work as quickly, and the surface actually seems to get hot, which has not been my experience with other induction hobs.3
