Reviews

Badly packed, arrived damagedLouisaThe desk mat itself is lovely. The delivery of the item is terrible, it should have been rolled and placed in a tube to avoid damaging the mat. Instead it arrived folded in half with damage on the fold line. Needed to use sticky tape to hold it together. So disappointing from IKEA.2

Great deal pad

Excellent for a desk pad as well as anything needing non-rub surfaces. Perfect thickness, can write on paper as well as use a computer mouse.

Cork desk pad
Review: 5 out of 5 stars.5
Bought to put under sewing machine to stop vibration on desk. Works a treat and easy to cut to size required. Not sure would like on my office desk as not smooth enough, but feels warm to touch and keeps items from sliding about.

This natural cork may really suits the style of our home. It is a great addition to the office and much nicer than a plastic desk mat.

What is cork?

Cork comes from cork oak bark which is carefully cut from the tree’s trunk. It then takes about nine years until the tree forms new bark that can be harvested. Since a cork oak can live to be aged 150-200, each one produces a lot of cork during its lifetime. Cork has several good qualities as a material: it’s lightweight, flexible, waterproof and naturally resists fire. We use it in furniture and accessories.
