How to get it

This chest of drawers has space for everything from a baby's first onesies, pyjamas and socks to a younger child's sweaters, pyjama bottoms and underwear – and then some.

Product details

In the 4 top drawers, there’s plenty of space for folded baby clothes and small things like pacifiers, bibs and socks.

In the 2 deep drawers at the bottom, you can store toys, blankets and other larger things.

Stands steady also on uneven floors since adjustable feet are included.

To save on our natural resources and make use of as much of the tree as possible, we’ve used sawmill leftovers and scrap wood in the particle boards for SMÅSTAD.

bad product Zakariathe mounting was a true joke, they are mistaking in the instruction manual1
Tough but worth itJaneOk! This was by far the most frustrating and time consuming ikea build, probably because there’s different types of set up for this and the instructions aren’t for the whole piece. To confirm I bought the 6 drawer (2 big 4 small). Thanks for anyone who gives tips in review cause they helped. The bottom big drawers, not built exact same as mentioned, the lower one doesn’t use the two plastic insets before sliding in the sides of the drawers, that is vital. Had to undo and redo a few times. The rest of the drawers are built the same way. My big issue then was with placing of the side brackets on the frame, for some reason I had different numbers than Bryan (helpful review) below and I placed them from bottom on hole numbers: 2, 13, 25, 31, 37, 43 Can’t seem to upload a photo. A listing like that in the instructions would be great. Also I find if not attached to wall the unit is quite wobbly. But when out together it’s lovely and fits into small space. Hang on in there!4
