Broke twiceChristineI've had 2 of these. In both cases, the little grey plastic cap over the screw head broke off. Once it falls off, it can't be put back on. The shelf won't stay up with out the screw head. This is very bad design.1

This is perfect for my desktop (a kitchen too from Ikea) it has made a real difference and takes all my wires and a long extension plug.

I used this to house a six plug socket, a few months in it's doing what it needs to well. I was also surprised how useful the rungs were for wrapping the cables round to ensure they don't fall down.
