    Family favourite with fish & saladSuzanneLovely mixed with mayonnaise to serve with fish and chips; delicious on brown bread with sliced smoked/unsmoked salmon or trout; and great added to freshly made coleslaw or potato salad - anything where dill and mustard are a good pairing. Sometimes added to mashed potato too in our house or served on the side as a dip mixed with mayonnaise for chips. 5

    Sweet and savoury

    Marinated salmon has a long history in Sweden. As early as the 1600´s, salmon was put in a hole in the ground and then covered, slowly fermenting for a very typical taste. Nowadays, however, it is marinated by being put in a salt, sugar and dill solution for a couple of days. It is often eaten with SÅS SENAP & DILL (sauce for salmon), a sweet and savoury mustard sauce. SÅS SENAP & DILL can also be served with other dishes such as crab, shrimps, marinated meat, ham, or as a salad dressing.
