Reviews
Does not hold battery life as advertisedLaurenThe product combined with the advertised rechargeable batteries die within an hour (I'm only on my second day of use, I charged it overnight and it lasted less than 40 minutes today) as it's not clear which aspect of the product is faulty, this applies to both.
AvoidRachelI had to return these, even after a full charge they’d only last 5-10minutes. Also didn’t stick to wall well. I returned and and bought another Ikea brand which are much better
Lovely warm white LED lightLenI would recommend these sensor lights. You can recharge them with the USB-C plug, or just plug them in. On a recharge they will last between 1-2 weeks. I have them in the bathroom where you have no plug sockets, so they are ideal at night. Love them
Drains batteries while not in useBrendanPros: Good brightness. Good value.
Cons: Wastes batteries.
This light drains batteries in about 3 weeks without ever being turned on. I have tried Ladda rechargeable AA batteries and a more powerful powerbank connected by USB. Both battery types get run down while the light is off.
I believe this is a design flaw from having a touch sensitive button instead of a regular old mechanical switch/button. Capacitive touch switches constantly use a small amount of power 24/7. This is not suited to a device running on batteries that you might leave off for days at a time, then to find the batteries are wasted when you try to use it.
Permanently connecting a USB mains adapter is an alternative for this light. But being battery operated was the main reason I bought this, for using in a location where running a power cable is too awkward.
If this light was redesigned with a plain old on/off switch and did not waste batteries, it would be a winner.
wish i had read the reviews Ciaralooks incredible when it works but unfortunately after a few minutes it just turns off and you have to slide it off and mess with the on and off switch to get it to turn back on… for another few minutes. wish this wasn’t the case.
UselessMaimonaDoesn't work with batteries as I expected, always need to plug in before use. Not happy
