Poorer quality than other furniture ranges.MarkI have bought a lot of different flat pack furniture from IKEA, which is generally very solid and sturdy. But this frame is comparatively very poor quality. Before you attach the back panels, the frame feels very loose and moves easily, which could break the thin dowels. There is no additional cross support to help with rigidity or to support a shelf. It would be helpful if there was a guide to show which screw holes need to be used for hinges or to attach the rails for different types of drawers as it would be quicker to screw rails in place first. And where are the inserts for the unused screw holes? The photos on the PAX page clearly show assembled units with NO visible screw holes. This is clearly false advertising. The other parts of the order were better quality than the frame. Last time buying PAX.2
Design flawJohnOverall these wardrobes are fine. However the design of the adjustable feet is really poor. If the floor is off level, as mine is, there is a real problem in that you have to screw the legs so far down that any movement is likely to pop one off and damage the base. The hammer in bits are really badly thought out and can easily be improved upon. Your products are excellent overall but your product designers seem to not quite think things through properly at times.4

We’ve kitted out 3 different houses with them over the years and have always been happy with them, this time was no different.
Gives the illusion of fitted wardrobes for much less cost and always easy to build.
At its base level the Pax wardrobes are very good value for money. It’s still quite pricey to add all the bells and whistles like drawers and baskets but worth it to get a good functionality.
This time round we went for sliding doors which was new.
They were a little tricky to hang on the rails (definitely an 2 person job) and one bit of the instructions were hard to understand. However once we got them on properly they worked great.
Would definitely recommend the Pax system and will use it again in future. 5

However aside from the doors that are of exceptional quality, rest is flimsy and the backing board a complete joke. Why not use plywood!. Shame because looks good and excellent storage. But quality leaves a lot of room for improvement.3
Product broke during assemblyAnonymous reviewerI built this in accordance with the instructions with my partner however it broke to pieces when it was lifted. There was no issue with ceiling height/clearance and the lift was by two people.
There are a version of the instructions that show that it can be built upright. If the product is too weak to be lifted then please remove the instructions for building it on the ground, or at least put them later in the manual...
