OLSERÖD is two tables in one. A smart side table that you slide in front of you on the sofa to eat while watching TV – and then you can quickly transform it into a stylish coffee table when friends visit.

You can quickly transform this multifunctional table from a slightly higher side table into a lower coffee table to suit all the different activities that take place around the sofa.

The smart design of the side table allows you to slide the table top over your lap and enjoy a proper dinner while watching TV, without risking spills or the underframe getting in the way of your legs.

Stable to eat on and with a table top that has enough room for a plate, glass and cutlery – and the table top is easy to wipe clean when you're done.

You transform the table by removing the table top from the underframe, turning the underframe on its side and then fixing the table top in place again by using the fasteners under the table top.

The fabric pouch under the table top is a smart storage space for small items you want close at hand. The pouch is fixed to the underframe with touch-and-close fastening so it’s easy to remove and wash.

You can decide how tightly the pouch is fixed to the underframe. Looser screws make it possible to pivot the pouch, so it easily adjusts to the desired function.

A clean shape, an industrial expression and toned-down colours mean that the table goes with most decors and becomes a nice design element in the entire home.

You can easily lift and move the table around to use it in different rooms and contexts, for example by the armchair in the reading corner.

Great design, but one flaw.MandyGood sturdy little table. However, the wood is of inferior quality. The surface is beginning to bubble and lift, this may have been caused by moisture from a glass or cup? I suggest the manufacturer use a waterproof sealant or perhaps apply one yourself before use. Other than that I love the functional design.4

Low quality, does not lastElizabethWe bought two of these tables just a few weeks ago and are already super disappointed. The table tops don’t attach securely so they constantly come apart when we go to move them around. Even worse, despite being designed as a side table for a sofa any little bit of moisture that touches the surface leaves a grey stain under the fake wood. Super low quality and I would not buy again. 1

Love the idea but could make some improvementsHazelAbsolutely love the idea of this table and how you can change it to two positions. There are a couple of small issues though. When it is in the shorter position the table section isn't very secure. It slips out of its place often. I also wish the screws on the basket didn't come loose so easily. Our cats don't really understand they can't stand on the basket and the screws loosen so easily the basket spins too much and sometimes comes out3

Trickier Than Anticipated Yet Still GoodNualaI bought this side table so I had somewhere to rest my Kindle Scribe when reading or when using my iPad to take notes. I found the assembly process a little bit more difficult than usual. I imagine my arthritis is more to blame than the item itself. I chose not to use the additional fabric part as I prefer a more streamline look. Had I known ahead of time I wouldn't use it, I might've chosen the birch colorway over the black as it would match my decor better, but it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I can't see myself using it as a coffee table, but it's very nice that I *can* use it as such if needed. For the price (€35.00 as of early June 2024), it's good value and a useful little item for my lounge room. Recommended! 4
