BrittleDanielThe fixing rail has a weakness at the joint with the fixing screw thread. This broke off when I first tried to adjust the angle of a spotlight, shortly after the electrician mounted it. The whole thing started hanging loose by the electric wire on the ceiling.
I had to buy another unit to get the replacement rail because Ikea don't seem to have it as a spare.
We now avoid touching it at all costs, so the adjustment function is somewhat less useful. But at least it does keep its original position, does not sag.
