Works as expectedNikhilGreat sensor. In my test, works well with apple homekit automations. The range is a bit low though, so might not be suitable for a large room as it could trigger the automation multiple times.4
Excellent FergalWorks as expected, I was able to add to both my Google home and my home assistant without any issues. I have it setup to send a notification to my phone if movement is detected while I am out of the house5
Not enough features MarlonConcept amazing but there is no action for This device in the smart app like for the door sensor... it would make sense if you use it as a security sensor that it could send you a notification if you enable it if you are not home. Door sensor is okay but security is all about layers and quick informations,it can complement door sensors really well. 2
Works terribly with Apple HomeRichardConstantly disconnects, disappears from the home app, for the first time in years I’m forced to use the ikea home app to automate lights with this sensor because it simply isn’t stable in Apple Home. I enabled notifications on my two sensors in Apple Home when they detect motion 50% of the time they don’t notify even though the ikea home app says there’s motion. Fix these or bring back Vallhorn, it was slow but atleast it was stable. 1
