This sensor keeps track of your windows and doors – helping you make life at home smoother and more comfortable.
When connected to a hub, the sensor sends a notification to your smartphone with information if a door or a window is opened.
You can combine the sensor with a smart lightbulb that turns on when you open a door and turns off when you close it – ideal for a walk-in closet.
Easy to place in different areas of the home since the parts can be mounted perpendicular to each other, opposite each other or side by side.

drops off network,won't update it's firmwareConorI paired it easily to my ZHA Home Assistant network, but it is constantly dropping off and reconnecting to the network. And it just errors out when trying to update to the latest firmware. There are numerous online reports of users having major issues like this with all of Ikea's latest Matter smart devices. Seems like a rushed product launch that wasn't properly tested. I have tonnes of their old smart plugs(inspellning and trekart which work perfectly and have never once given an issue on both ZHA and Z2MQTT. These new smart products are a disaster!!
Great Value sensor!MarkTested and works as advertised. Connected to thread system (Home assistant) and is working well.
