Lanesund tv unit assembly FintanA tad expensive item as a flat pack if I’m honest, it’s made of MDF with a real wood strip slipped on 3 sides, Ikea or their supplier have used a combination of fixing methods for assembly purposes which I approve of. For a competive person assembly is easy, but I would advise at least 2 people for this if you’re a novice. As I am using this unit as a replacement fish tank stand I had to reinforce it. But it’s a quality product and will last forever as a tv uni and could be painted if you don’t like the color. The glass doors with magnet catches in a nice touch. Ikea has raised its game,highly recommend any of the units in the LANDSUND range on display in IKEA Dublin. Regards Fintan
Looks Perfect.CiaraOnce assembled this looks perfect and feels like great quality. The assembly is tricky and definitely requires 2 if not 3 people. The screws meant to hold the back panels in place did not work at all, they were not able to penetrate the wood at all so I did need to use other screws.
