Board-on-frame is a strong and lightweight material with a frame in wood, particleboard or fibreboard and a recycled paper filling. It requires less raw materials and is easy to transport, which reduces the environmental impact.

Good but…EdThe unit went together perfectly but I’d urge you to reconsider using chipboard for the drawer carcasses. I have almost 30 years experience in carpentry, fine woodworking and cabinet making and I still mangled the sides of one drawer. I either have a lot of work to do on my skills or the 12mm chipboard wasn’t sturdy enough. I’ve remade the drawer in birch ply 4
