HandyPatriciaGreat for doubling the space , I use mine for shoes5
Ideal storage.BrianI needed to store CDs on my Kallax 'cubes' - these were ideal in allowing optimal storage! IT IS JUST A PITY THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN BLACK!!!!5
simple but versatileDavidThese shelves are ridiculously easy to assemble. I think they cost the same as a pair of KALLAX drawers though, even though they're much simpler. As with all IKEA products, the base shelf unit is well-priced, but as you add the accessories you need, the overall price doubles.4

Material

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
