Handles dangerously short.MauriceHave used these for years, but no more. The latest versions have more than halved the length of the handles. As a result you cannot gather them together to carry the basket single handedly, both hands are required.... but if you are elderly or have a steep staircase you need one hand free to hold the stair rail, hence for many people use of these is potentially quite dangerous when laundry needs to be moved between floors at it frequently does.
If ikea desperately wants to save a few cents in manufacturing cost it would be better to omit the lid, as least that would not comprise safety.
