IKEA Sligo Plan and Order Point has opened today
The retailer continues to expand its presence into the West Coast of Ireland
The new Plan and Order Point opened its doors in Sligo at 9.00am today. It is a specialised IKEA outlet focused on bespoke kitchen and wardrobe design planning. It offers customers access to home furnishing advice and expertise, supporting customers in designing, delivering, and installing their ideal kitchens, bedrooms, and other parts of their home. Four co-workers have been recruited to work in the store, from the local area, to support customers designing their dream homes.
Despite being smaller than a standard IKEA store, 120 sqm has been packed with inspirational and affordable kitchen and wardrobe solutions. Customers will find a selection of six kitchens to browse, such as a complete kitchen, including oven and hob, for €1,922. Additionally, IKEA will showcase its kitchen fronts and worktops as well as having an appliance studio. There’s also a space dedicated to the PAX wardrobe system, with doors, interior organisers, and knobs and handles to help customers build their dream storage solution.
Customers can book an appointment at IKEA.ie, or just drop in to the store, to start their design with one of the IKEA design specialists working in the store. Products can then be ordered from across the full IKEA range for delivery direct to the customer’s home or a location of their choice.

The Canopy is Sligo's newest shopping destination, which last year underwent a €1 million rebrand and makeover. With IKEA as one of the retailers in the shopping centre, it will strengthen its position even further as the main shopping destination in the northwest.
