With IKEA assembly service, you decide how to spend your time. Because some days, assembling furniture is fun and fulfilling. Other days, not so much. Our professional, convenient service lets you get life sorted instead of sorting screws.
It's simple to book, by speaking to a co-worker in store or adding assembly to your basket at checkout online (for selected products). A trusted fitter will do the assembling or installation so that you can focus on your to-do list.

IKEA Assembly service
Our independent assembly partners will assemble your IKEA furniture. There is a €30 call-out fee, and you will be charged a professional assembly rate based on the products that you want assembled. Fitters will also secure items to the wall at no additional cost.
To book this service, select the products you want assembled at checkout or talk to a co-worker in-store.
*Please note that products purchased in a sale or with special reductions (e.g. Re-shop and Re-use) will be calculated on the full retail price.
How it works
Step 1: Book and pay for the Assembly Service in-store or online during your checkout process and choose your time and date.
Step 2: Check for a confirmation e-mail from our trusted provider, Creative Fitting, that includes the next steps.
Step 3: The fitter arrives at your home or office to complete the assembly.
Step 4: Save documents and spare parts (just in case) and enjoy your assembled furniture!
SKYTTA sliding door installation
Our independent assembly partners can help install your new SKYTTA sliding doors. And, if needed, the installers can build your other furniture at the same time! The installers will first visit you in your home to assess the conditions and provide accurate measurements of the room, to ensure your proposed plan will fit your space, as well as give you an installation quote. Any supplementary works to prepare and complete your space will also be discussed. On returning to the IKEA store you can then book the installation service.
The initial non refundable pre-installation measure service is €60. Installation prices are charged based on the length of the combination and the complexity of the installation. They start at €100 per meter.

Good-to-know basics
- We can put together any IKEA furniture and accessories that require assembly or fixing to become functional. A sit/stand desk? Yes. A small desk organiser? No.
- The service includes professional assembly according to instructions and installation of any tip-over restraints for safety purposes. As far as technically possible, wall and ceiling installations are carried out at the customer’s request and risk.
- Assembly service excludes electrical and plumbing. IKEA can still help with kitchen installation.
- Leave your to-be-assembled products in the original packaging. Place the packages where you want each finished item to be.
