IKEA recalls certain ROSTAD LÖK, fried onion, 100g, due to missed wheat allergen information on the product packaging in Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the UK*

As a precaution, IKEA is recalling certain packages of ROSTAD LÖK fried onions (100g). The reason is that the ingredient list, while correctly stating that the product contains wheat, does not highlight this allergen as required.

Product name: ROSTAD LÖK, fried onion, 100g Article number: 302.371.76 Best Before Date: 02-06-2026 – 22-11-2026 (DD-MM-YYYY). Other Best Before Dates are not affected. Countries affected: Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the UK*.

*Products purchased only from the IKEA Belfast store.

What should customers do?

The affected products should not be consumed by anyone with an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, or with coeliac disease. The affected products can be returned to any IKEA store for a full refund. Proof of purchase (i.e. a receipt) is not required.

Additionally, IKEA encourages customers to spread the word about this recall, especially if they know that the recalled product was offered or sold to someone else.
