Tips to organise the dresser drawer 

Dressers or storage drawers can help you keep your things organised, easy to find and easy to access. Depending on your storage needs, you can choose anything from two to ten drawers. You can also opt for a modular design, which allows you to add as many drawers as you like and adapt as needed. 

For multi-purpose dressers you might want even more organisation options, especially if you find your things sliding around inside the drawers. Try slotting in some boxes to give everything its own space and help keep it all separate. Some of our dressers also have a combination of small and large drawers, which can help you divide your belongings within the same piece. For example, you could keep make-up in a larger drawer and earrings in a smaller one. 

How to make a dresser drawer safe?

Remember to always anchor your dresser or chest of drawers to the wall in your home. Although dressers are not normally considered dangerous, it’s easy to forget that they can become very heavy when full and pulling out the drawers can create imbalance. 

If a heavy dresser tips and falls on top of you, it could cause serious injury. With a free-standing dresser, if more than one drawer is opened at a time or if a child tries to climb up when playing, the whole structure could become unstable and topple over. The best way to prevent a dresser from tipping is to anchor it to the wall.
