Read more about IKEA Finland

Our vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people guides our actions - we want to help everyone live a more affordably and sustainably everyday life. Our business idea is to offer a wide range of well- designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them.

For almost 30 years, IKEA has been inspiring people in Finland to live a better everyday life. Our annual Life at Home survey, for example, allows us to understand people’s needs and dreams today, so we can meet them where they need us, tomorrow.

Our vision of a better everyday life also means taking care of people and the planet. As part of our sustainability strategy, we have purchased five wind farms in Finland that produce clean, emission-free energy. This will support our Group's goal to become climate-positive by 2030 and to produce even more renewable energy than we consume in our own operations.

We want to build a fair and equal everyday life. For years, we have been actively supporting children, young people and families in particular, as well as the most vulnerable people, in long-standing cooperation with our partner organisations.

One brand, many companies

The IKEA brand covers many different companies around the world. Although they have different owners and managers, their vision and values are similar. The Ingka Group (Ingka Holding B.V. and the companies it manages) is one of the 12 IKEA licensees. It has a franchise agreement to operate IKEA stores with Inter IKEA Systems B.V., the owner of the IKEA concept and international IKEA franchisor. IKEA Finland is part of the Ingka Group.
