Can I return a product that I have already opened or assembled?

It is possible to return an item that is open or assembled if the item is complete and clean. Remember to bring your receipt or proof of purchase to an IKEA store for your return.

A partial refund can also be granted for the used product, depending on its condition.

Always take a receipt, order confirmation or other proof of purchase with you to the store when you are returning a product. Return needs to be made within a 365 days from the original purchase.

If the product in question is mattress, duvet or pillow, that is proven not to be suitable for you, you can take advantage of the 90-night exchange right.

Do you need help returning a prdocut to an IKEA store? You can contact us and we can pick up the product for you. If you choose shipping, the product must be disassembled and packed, but it does not have to be in the original packaging. The shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
