How do I make a home appliance complaint?

It's unfortunate that your household appliance causes concern. No worries - we want to help you find a solution to your problem as quickly as possible.

  • Familiarize yourself with the troubleshooting instructions in the user manual. Go through the corrective actions suggested in the Troubleshooting / What to do if... chapter of the user manual. You can find the user manual from our website: just search the product with its name or article number, and go to Product Details and Assembly and Documents.
     
  • If the product has a valid IKEA warranty, have the payment receipt for the product ready.
     
  • Write down the product information. Make sure you know the product article number, manufacturer number and type number. You'll find the latter two from the product nameplate.

      • Is there a rattling noise coming from your cooker hood? Is your oven displaying the error message F11? Is the fridge-freezer temperature too low? There is often an easy solution to these questions. Check with the Electrolux search engine (Finnish) by entering the fault code or an open description of your appliance fault in the search field and the search engine will give you a possible solution to the problem.
        If the search engine does not provide the solution you need, you can contact Electrolux Customer Service. Some product faults can already be resolved over the phone or by e-mail. If your appliance requires servicing, our technical support team will contact you within two working days of your contact. You can arrange a convenient time for the service visit with the service company.

  • Buying spare parts for household appliances
    • If you want to buy spare parts for your home appliance, contact the appliance manufacturer. You can find at least the following spare parts in the selection of equipment manufacturers:
      • Washing machines and dryers
        • The following spare parts are available (if they belong to the product): door, door hinges and seals, other seals, door locking mechanism and plastic parts such as detergent dispenser.
      • Dishwashers
        • The following spare parts are available (if they belong to the product): door hinges and seals, other seals, spray arms, waste water filters, dish baskets and plastic parts such as cutlery baskets and lids.
      • Refrigeration equipment
        • The following spare parts are available (if they belong to the product): door handles, door hinges, housings, boxes and door seals.
