How does the IKEA Family loyalty bonus work?

With the IKEA Family loyalty bonus, you can earn points on purchases and selected activities, which you can later redeem for attractive rewards and coupons.

As an IKEA Family member, you don't just benefit from exclusive offers and services. Many interactions with IKEA also earn you points, which are automatically credited to your loyalty bonus account. These points can be redeemed for various benefits and rewards.

How can I earn points?

You can earn points in two different ways: through purchases and through selected activities.

Earn points on purchases

For each 5 € purchase value you will receive 1 point.
This applies to purchases from:
  • IKEA stores
  • IKEA.de
  • of the IKEA app
  • Telephone orders
  • IKEA Planning Studios
  • IKEA restaurant, bistro and Swedish shop
  • selected IKEA services

Please note

  • No points are awarded for the purchase of IKEA gift cards.
  • When you use your IKEA Family card abroad, you won't earn loyalty points.

Earn points through activities

Various activities can also earn additional points.
These include, for example:
  • Monthly login to your IKEA Family profile
  • Create, name and save a wish list (maximum once a week)
  • Participation in workshops and events

Important

Points will only be credited if you are logged in to the activity with your IKEA Family account. These points will be credited the following month.
For example, if you create a wish list as a guest, no points will be credited.
You can find more ways to earn points at any time in your IKEA Family profile.

When are the points credited?

Points will not be credited until the process has been completed.
  • After paying in the store
  • After successful delivery of a delivery
  • After confirmed participation in a workshop or event

The credit is usually issued within 24 to 48 hours.

Where can I find my points balance?

You can find your current points balance in your IKEA Family profile under "History".
There you can see at any time:
  • points collected
  • Points redeemed
  • expired points
This is how you keep track of your points account.

How long are points valid for?

Validity of points

Your points will remain from the time they are credited Valid for 24 months.
After that, they expire automatically.

Other conditions

  • Points are non-transferable.
  • Points cannot be withdrawn.

Why can my score be negative?

How do I redeem my points?

Select coupon

  1. Log in to your IKEA Family profile or the IKEA app.
  2. Select the reward you want.
  3. The required points are automatically deducted.
You will then receive:
  • a QR code or
  • a 16-digit promo code.

How do I redeem a coupon?

In the IKEA store

  • Have the QR code scanned at the checkout or
  • Show coupon code
Several coupons can be combined, as long as they belong to different categories.

Online or in the IKEA app

  1. Add your items to the shopping cart.
  2. Enter the coupon code at checkout.
  3. The discount will be applied automatically.

Important

Per order can only be placed online a coupon can be used.

When ordering by phone

Share the coupon code before completing the order.

  • Only one coupon is possible per order.

How long are coupons valid for?

My points are missing
