Why is my METOD kitchen design locked?

Your kitchen design will be locked after ordering your IKEA kitchen. It could also be blocked if an IKEA employee is working on it. You can create a copy of your kitchen design and continue to design the copied version.

A kitchen drawing is published in the METOD Kitchen Planner if you are working on it with an IKEA employee, or if your kitchen order has already been placed.
If you want to continue with the kitchen design on your page, you can make a copy of the locked drawing and save it with a new name. This will allow you to make any changes you want in the copied version.
Here's how to do it:
  1. Navigate to the home page of the METOD Kitchen Planner.
  2. Scroll down to your drafts, click on the 'Locked' tab, where you'll find your locked drawing.
  3. Press 'Make a copy'.
  4. Save the copied design with a new name. This copy is now unlocked and can be edited.
