Why is my IKEA kitchen design locked?
Is your kitchen design locked? Find out why this happens and how you can continue working with a copy of your design.
A kitchen design may be temporarily locked while an IKEA co-worker is working on it through the IKEA Kitchen planner or importing it into an internal system.
How to continue working on your design
You can easily create a copy of your design:
- Open the IKEA Kitchen Planner.
- Go to "Designs".
- Click the three dots next to your design.
- Select "Duplicate".
- Save the copy under a new name.
You can then continue editing your kitchen design as usual.
Good to know
The lock is only temporary and helps prevent simultaneous changes to the same design.
