Why is my discount code/ gift card not accepted?

IKEA coupons and discount codes generally have a limited validity and expiration date. If you can't apply your coupon/ discount code, make sure that you first check that it's still valid. Some coupons and discount codes are also only applicable to a selection of products, so make sure you check what conditions apply.

Redeeming the gift card: The gift card is only entered at the end of the payment proces. Make sure that your gift card starts with the number 627598 and has a total of 19 digits. Enter the code without spaces.

PIN code: When redeeming a gift card, a 4-digit PIN code must be entered. If your card does not have a PIN code, it may be a promotional card. These cards can only be redeemed in our stores.

Blocked amount: If you enter the voucher code at checkout and then leave the shopping cart to make a change, the amount on the card will be temporarily blocked. In this case, the voucher must first be removed from the shopping cart. Otherwise, the system may think that the voucher has already been redeemed. Don't worry, the amount is usually released again within 24 hours and you can then use the voucher again. So the money is not lost.
