Why is my IKEA discount code or gift card not working?

Your IKEA discount code or gift card is not working? Check the most common reasons and find a quick solution here.

If your discount code, gift card or promotional card is not working, please check the following:

1. Is your code still valid?

  • Most discount codes and vouchers have an expiration date.
  • Some offers apply only to selected products or promotions.
Please review the terms and conditions of your voucher.

2. Enter your gift card correctly

  • Gift cards are entered at the end of the checkout process, not in the shopping cart.
  • Your gift card number must:
    • Start with 627598
    • Contain 19 digits in total
  • Enter the code without spaces.

3. Check the PIN code

  • A 4-digit PIN is required when redeeming a gift card.
  • If your card does not have a PIN, it may be a promotional card.
    → Promotional cards can only be redeemed in IKEA stores.

4. Is the amount temporarily blocked?

If you entered your voucher at checkout and then left your shopping cart to make changes, the amount may be temporarily reserved.
  • The amount is usually released automatically within 24 hours.
  • Your money is not lost.
