How can I hire an IKEA van?

Find out how to hire a van at IKEA, including booking via the Buchbinder app, collection at the IKEA store and returning the vehicle.

For larger purchases, you can hire a rental van at IKEA and transport your furniture home yourself.

Reserve a van

The booking is handled by our service partner Buchbinder.
You can easily reserve the van:
  • via the Buchbinder app
  • from home or while you’re on the go

Collecting the van

You can collect the van directly from your IKEA store.
From there, you can:
  • load your furniture
  • transport it home yourself

Returning the van

After transporting your purchases, return the rental van to the IKEA store. When returning the vehicle, you can also dispose of your packaging and cardboard.
