Apology regarding the contamination of plant-based soft serve ice cream with dairy ingredients
It has been discovered that the plant based soft serve ice cream sold at the Swedish Bistro on the first floor of IKEA Tachikawa, Sunday 3 August contained a soft serve mix containing milk because of an error in ingredient handling. We sincerely apologize for the concern and inconvenience this has caused our customers.
In response to this incident IKEA Japan is reviewing its operations, strengthening its management system, and providing thorough employee training to prevent a recurrence.
