We’ve created comprehensive IKEA guarantees for many of our products and have gathered them all here. Because, while we believe in the quality and durability of our products, at IKEA we like to have your back.

Below you will find a list of all our guarantees.

When IKEA guarantees apply  

Our guarantees can change over time and are always determined by the date of order or purchase. The period the terms and conditions of yours applies to starts from the day you receive your product – whether you take it home yourself, or it’s delivered to you – so always keep a record of your purchase and order.

Kitchen guarantee 

We offer you a free 25 year guarantee that covers defects in the material and workmanship on the METOD kitchen system. 

FÖRVARA drawers, UTRUSTA wire baskets, TUTEMO, TORNVIKEN,VADHOLMA and HÖRDA and all kitchen mixer tapshave a 10-year warranty.

All IKEA appliances have a free 5 year guarantee (except for LAGAN and TILLREDA for which we offer a free 2 year guarantee).

Bathroom guarantee 

We offer you a 10 year guarantee that covers defects in the material and work-manship on all wash-basins, mixer taps and on BROGRUND, VOXNAN and VALLAMOSSE shower mixers and GODMORGON furniture system.

BROGRUND and VOXNAN accessories such as riser rails, head and hand showers, shower hoses and hand shower parking bracket have a 3 year guarantee.

VALLAMOSSE, LILLREVET and KOLSJÖN have a 3 year guarantee on some products.

Bedroom guarantee 

We offer you a 10 year guarantee that covers mattresses with the logo below against defects in materials and workmanship. We also offer you a 10 year guarantee that covers PAX/KOMPLEMENT wardrobes and interior organisers marked with the logo, against defects in materials and workmanship.

Sofa and armchairs guarantee

We offer you a 10 year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship that covers frames and cushions of our sofas – and for some products, this involves a 25 year guarantee. This guarantee is subject to the terms and conditions stated in the pdfs below.

Workspace guarantees and office furniture guarantees​

We are able to offer a 10 year guarantee against defects in materials, workmanship and function on all main parts in the BEKANT series, IDÅSEN series, GALANT storage system, THYGE, SKARSTA and HÄLLAN storage.

We offer you a 10 year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship in the moving parts and frame of workchairs MARKUS, LÅNGFJÄLL, GRÖNFJÄLL, SMÖRKULL, HATTEFJÄLL, ALEFJÄLL, JÄRVFJÄLLET, TROLLBERGET, FLINTAN, LIDKULLEN, FJÄLLBERGET, LÄKTARE and MULLFJÄLLET.
