Create your own bubble of calm and comfort
IKEA interior designer Elin Stierna helps us capture the essence of current trends: “Let your living room be a sanctuary, a place for relaxation. Furnishing with fewer items helps create a calm, and calming space. Also, mixing different materials and finishes adds comfort in both look and feel.”
Details, blond wood and fibres
“Simplicity is an effective tool”, says Elin. “With fewer things in a room, the details play a greater role for the style as a whole. Even these downplayed, simple accents – round shapes, blond wood, ceramics and natural fibres in toned-down colours – combine to create a unified, strong expression.”
We love to see our customers get creative with our products. Go for it! But please note that altering or modifying IKEA products so they can no longer be re-sold or used for their original purpose, means the IKEA commercial guarantees and your right to return the products will be lost.
