    So Disappointing - Unusable!FelicityThese lamps were so disappointing - I bought 2, and 4 bulbs, so I tried every combination of new bulbs with each lamp, different powerpoints etc, but all I get is the lamps flickering on and off like strobe lights. And definitely nowhere near bright enough to read a book by - assuming they weren't flickering. Will be returning these for a refund which is hugely inconvenient because there is only one Ikea in NZ!!! I would give zero starts if it was an option.1

    I love this so much, I bought 2! I also bought a couple of the mini versions and a gift! The dimming switch makes a fantastic old-timey sound and has the same feeling of an old camping lantern. The cord is fabric too-another great bonus. Get this! :)

    What is glass?

    Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
