Hinge needs better instructionsJoWhen you make this, you will swear at the gap (see other reviews) BUT as long as you check out youtube, it's all fixable. If Ikea could add a QR to a video explaining this in better detail than the laughable 2 arrows on the vague diagram, this piece wouldn't be getting hammered on reviews. Once constructed properly, this is a strong, sturdy, lovely looking piece that elevates the IVAR shelving range to look like 'proper' furniture, or can be wall-mounted with others as a sideboard. Really recommend this - don't be put off by the price tag or the reviews about the gap. Would love IKEA to bring back the sliding IVAR unit though as this particular cabinet is very high: a lower-profile option would be a brilliant addition to the modular setup.4
