Love this vanity unit. Drawers are spacious and soft close. The only thing I would have liked would be if Ikea had this in one or two other colours as the basin would stand out more. Very happy though.

I was very impressed with the quality of the Hemna vanity unit. It feels really solid and looks great especially in combination with the matching mirrored cabinet above. The Ilea designed waste pipe system allowing for full sized drawers is genius.

Smart water trap

A pull-out water trap is included with wash-basins in the GODMORGON and HEMNES series. That makes it easy to adjust the length to make room for a drawer - or to connect to a drain, washing machine or condense dryer.

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
