Tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger and more resistant to breaking than regular glass. In case it would break, it shatters into many granular pieces to reduce the risk of injury.

It's actually a two person put together job, which makes it so much easier. Instructions are clear and labeling is good. The cabinet is strong and sturdy. I'm using it to display Lego Builds.

I bought this in May 2021. I paid to have the guy, Freddie, assemble it. He was beyond terrific! I love this & have my pumpkins in it. It never seems to get dusty inside which amazes me. I love this piece of furniture from IKEA.
