    Brimmes Queen Size Bed BaseKevinJust assembled today. Navigating the instruction manual wasn’t too tricky and apart from one or two mistakes I made in the assembly process was pretty straightforward. Assembly time took about 6 hours without any help whatsoever. Base and slats appear sturdy and especially like the roomy drawers as have limited space, these will replace the drawers I currently have and that are taking up room. 5
    Very difficult to assemble – disappointing experienceSagarThis bed has been a nightmare to install. The assembly process is unnecessarily complicated, and the boards are not clearly labelled, which makes it very difficult to know which piece goes where or where to start. For a product from IKEA, I expected the assembly instructions and identification of parts to be much clearer. IKEA should consider adding clear labels or numbers to the boards, especially for a large and complicated bed like this. I also found it very difficult to reach IKEA customer service when I needed help with the installation. Overall, I’m quite disappointed with this product and the installation experience. I would not recommend this bed unless you are very comfortable with complicated DIY assembly.1

    Great bed after a tricky assemblyMatthewI absolutely love this bed! It's so nice having all the drawers under it to store stuff. I don't think I can go back to using a bed without integrated drawers now. One downside was that the assembly is tricky for this one. I'd recommend reading a few steps ahead before completing your current step because, at times, the order was either wrong or a vital part was left out until looking at the next page. One other thing to consider is that bedside tables would be tough to use due to the drawers, so getting the version with a headboard would be helpful.5

    What is particleboard?
